Call for Abstracts
We are proud to invite expressions of interest for attendees to present at the fifth GUS Academic Summit, co-hosted by Arden University and London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA).
This Year's Theme
Submissions should align to our conference theme: 'Transforming Worlds, Transforming Education’. Under which we have the following sub-themes:

Formats
We welcome submissions in the following formats:

Conference Paper Presentations

Interactive Workshops

Academic Conference Poster
Sessions may be delivered individually or in collaboration with colleagues or small teams. Presentation duration choices, that are inclusive of Q&A and presenter turnaround time, are:

20 minutes

40 minutes
-
60 minutes
Following acceptance, we will share an event PowerPoint slide deck, and details of where and when to share your presentation with the team for pre-event upload.
Academic Posters
We welcome the submission of academic posters. If you are new to sharing your practice, posters are a lovely way to get started. A dedicated poster template will be available, and we will host a workshop to support colleagues in designing and disseminating their scholarly teaching and learning innovations if required.
We look forward to welcoming you to London and supporting you to showcase the outstanding work created within our global academic community.
Registration
Important Information
The conference (including catering and the event dinner on Tuesday 12th May) is free, however delegates must secure permission from their home institution to attend and must source funding for their travel and accommodation.
The event is open to all, and you may choose to attend without submitting an abstract, however, places are limited, and presenters will be given priority allocation.
Registration Process
Event registration closes on 1 May 2026 at 09:00 (UK Time). Please note this is different to and later than the closing date for the submission of abstracts.
You will receive acknowledgement and confirmation of registration when you have completed the registration link. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact Hannah Yewbrey Hannah.Yewbrey@gus.global
Following registration, nearer to the event date, we will share information including the schedule, event programme and catering related details. Full details will also be accessible via our website.
